Natural Stone
Our natural stone collection may include marble, onyx, travertine and sandstone. Veining, pores, mineral markings, tonal differences and subtle variations in shape are natural characteristics of these materials. No two pieces will be completely identical.
- Dust regularly with a clean, soft and dry cloth.
- For routine cleaning, gently wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth and dry it immediately.
- Avoid vinegar, lemon-based products, acidic cleaners, bleach and abrasive cleaning pads.
- Remove spills promptly, particularly oils, colored liquids and cosmetic products.
- Lift the bookend when repositioning it rather than dragging it across a shelf.
- Felt pads may be placed underneath heavier pieces to protect delicate furniture surfaces.
Glass
Glass bookends reflect and refract surrounding light, and may contain small bubbles, ripples or subtle differences created during production. These characteristics are part of the material rather than signs of damage.

- Keep away from open flames and excessive direct heat.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to intense sunlight to help preserve the original color and clarity.
Placement & Everyday Use
- Always place bookends on a stable, level and dry surface.
- Position heavier pieces carefully and make sure the shelf can support their combined weight.
- When arranging books, move the books toward the bookend rather than using the bookend to force a heavy row into position.
- Products sold individually may require a wall, shelf side or second bookend for complete support.
- For pieces that include a candle holder, keep the flame away from books, paper and other combustible objects, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
